Both sides evaluated that the partnership between South Korea and NATO has been further strengthened in the wake of our leaders' attendance at the first NATO summit in June, and said that both sides, which share universal values such as freedom, democracy, and the rule of law, will continue to strengthen cooperation.
In addition, Minister Park said he expects the opening of the South Korean delegation to NATO, which is being pursued as a follow-up to the summit, to lay the institutional foundation for cooperation between South Korea and NATO.

The NATO congressional delegation's visit to South Korea came after President Yoon Suk Yeol attended the NATO summit in June. It is expected to reaffirm the need to strengthen Korea-NATO cooperation and help secure NATO members' understanding.
