Earlier this month, Jung-Hoon Kim (41), an expert of the UN SDGs Association, was appointed as the European Climate Ambassador for the spread of the EU's green deal and climate policy by the EU Commission in Brussels, Belgium.


He was an expert in SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy. He also gained experience on the Seoul Metropolitan, Government's presidential transition committee. He served not only as a presidential adviser and chief of public relations for the KOICA, an organization affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but also as secretary-general of the U.N. SDGS Forum in the Korean National Assembly.


Through the UN SDGs Association, Jung-hoon Kim makes a partnership with domestic and foreign companies, governments, and public institutions. He will consult with Carbon Border Adjustment (CBAM) European Green Deal Taxonomy Biological Transformation Mechanism Sustainable Energy Net Environment Sustainable Food Safety Strategy and support the establishment of carbon-neutral plans such as climate response and RE100 in line with EU guidelines.
